School Visits & Student Engagement: Shaw is available and delighted to visit local schools and speak with students of all ages.

Capitol Tours & Museum: Guided and self-guided tours of the Capitol are available at no cost.

Page Program: The Page Program provides a first-hand opportunity for students to gain knowledge about state government.  Pages must be at least 12 years old and can volunteer for one legislative day at the State Capitol; availability is limited to 10 pages per Representative per session.

Letters of Recognition: In recognition of special events such as 100th birthday celebrations, 50th wedding anniversaries, student achievement awards, scouting awards, sports awards, or other special lifetime achievements, Representative Blackmon is happy to prepare commendation letters or resolutions for his constituents.

Event & Meeting Requests: Shaw is available for local meetings and events in the district upon request.  During the legislative session, January through March, weekday availability may be limited due to meetings at the State Capitol.
